All the holiday cottages we let are individually owned and vary considerably both in style and specification. The descriptions have been carefully prepared to tell you about the holiday cottage but our helpful staff will be pleased to offer further advice on individual holiday cottages. - Unless otherwise specified, the holiday cottages DO NOT INCLUDE LINEN OR TOWELS.
- Pets are permitted in a number of holiday cottages (those displaying a dog icon) and, should you decide to take advantage of this, we ask that you ensure your pet is well behaved and never left unattended at the holiday cottage. Where No Pets is specified this is not negotiable. We cannot guarantee that any property has not been occupied by pets at any time. Dogs are not permitted on Polzeath beach between Easter Day and October 1st but are welcome at Rock, Daymer Bay or on Port Isaac Beaches at any time.
- Keys can be collected between 3pm and 5pm on the day of arrival. Please notify us if your journey here is delayed. Departure time is 10.00 a.m. prompt on the day of the end of your holiday. Our opening hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm, and the Rock office on Saturday 9am to 12 noon. The Port Isaac office is open on Saturdays from 9am till 1pm and 2pm to 5pm in peak season but is not open at all on Saturdays during the winter months.
- Tenants are required to leave the holiday cottage clean and in good order and will be responsible for any breakages. A caretaker is employed to check the holiday cottage before your arrival and on your departure. It may be possible to arrange for the holiday cottage to be cleaned on your behalf at an extra cost - please ask a member of staff about this service on your arrival if required.
How to make a booking
You may book a holiday cottage through the web site or over the telephone - it has to be a first come first served basis, if a property is available and two people are trying to book the same house for the same week at the same time it’s the one who pays first that the system gives the house to (whether on the phone to us or on the internet!). We apologise if that occurs as it will be very frustrating especially after filling in all the details etc!
Please note that we offer tenants who stay in the cottages and houses from Rock to Polzeath, first refusal on the same week for the following year (subject to the owners authority). This return booking process is carried out in November/December each year and all other availability is then released in the first full working week on the New Year.
For Port Isaac cottages and houses re-booking on holiday cottages can take place straight away (subject to owner authority) so do not wait for us to contact you!
Availability
Check the availability on the web site which is "live". If a cottage is booked it immediately becomes unavailable for the booked week. The only way a cottage will not be allocated to you if you proceed through the booking process is if someone else is doing so as well and gets to pay for it before you!
Booking Confirmation
Once you have paid you will be forwarded the booking confirmation by e-mail (which details the full
booking conditions).
The holiday cottage owners will not accept bookings unless covered by a holiday protection insurance because they then know the occupiers are covered for accidental damage to the property and contents.
Balance payments
Your balance payment should be forwarded to us by the due date shown on your booking. Again the easiest way to do this is via the web site. You can ring to do this but please have all your booking details handy.
