The narrow, cobbled streets, the whitewashed cottages and the slim thoroughfares and alleyways. All these things add to the rich character of this quaint fishing village.<\/p>\n<p>Nestled amidst the rugged scenery of the North Cornwall coast, Port Isaac is a friendly community, welcoming visitors year-round.<\/p>\n<p>Port Isaac is known for the TV series Doc Martin, with Port Isaac being the main <a href=\"https:\/\/www.johnbraycornishholidays.co.uk\/blog\/film-locations-in-north-cornwall\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #5697a4;\">North Cornwall filming location<\/span><\/a> for the show. It\u2019s also where the sea shanty singing group Fisherman\u2019s Friends began their musical career.<\/p>\n<p>The neighbouring ports of <strong>Port Gaverne<\/strong> and <strong>Port Quin<\/strong> are excellent local areas to explore along the <strong>South West Coast Path<\/strong>.
