    “Loverly accommodation, ideal for two friends and a dog.”

    Convenient location as long as you don’t mind walking up and down the steep hill into the town, good exercise. Co op just round the corner. Parking for two cars. Cannot fault it.

Please note: The property is ideal for couples however we can accept a maximum of up to 4 people (including one infant) only. Suncroft is a charming holiday home at the heart of Cornwall's fishing village of Port Isaac. With parking for two cars, an open plan living area, large rear garden, close proximity to the beach and local amenities, this well-presented bungalow is ideal for couples and families looking for a coastal retreat. Prepare home-cooked meals in the fully equipped kitchen and relax in front of the Smart TV in your new home-from-home, enjoying meals at the dining table, or outside in the garden, with its decked dining area and large lawn perfect for sunbathing or garden games. When you're ready for a good nights sleep, wash off the day in the bathroom with a shower or relaxing bath and then make your way to the sumptuous double or twin bedroom, both of which feature ample storage. While the nearby convenience Co-op store is handy for self-catering guests, within walking distance are more shops as well as a range of excellent pubs and eateries including Nathan Outlaw’s award winning New Road and Fish Kitchen Restaurants, the Golden Lion pub and The Angry Anchovy pizzeria. Stay in Port Issac where you can stroll down to the harbour, taking in the familiar landmarks from the TV show Doc Martin which was filmed in the village as well as enjoying breath-taking views from the coastal path. Just a short stroll away is Port Gaverne Beach with its stunning sea views from the bay, sunbathing and paddling opportunities, and, for adrenaline-hunters an opportunity to book in for local coasteering activities. Venture up the coast to find Tintagel, the legendary birthplace of King Arthur, which is accessible by car, and houses Merlin's Cave, which overlooks the tranquil beach, Tintagel Haven. When heading south by car visit the market town of Wadebridge, or drive to nearby Rock village and take the foot ferry across the Camel Estuary to Padstow, where you can visit the National Lobster Hatchery, which runs educational tours and activities, before strolling around the waterfront and savouring locally caught seafood at Rick Stein's The Seafood Restaurant. Suncroft really is the perfect holiday home for enjoying Cornwall's beautiful coastline and all it has to offer!

Port Isaac; one of the true Cornish treasures. A beautiful fishing village nestling in a steep sided valley, the old village in the valley remains unchanged from its days of fishing, slate export and smuggling in the previous century. An abundance of small character properties complemented by larger cliff-top retreats, can be found with easy access to the numerous restaurants and shops of the village. The sandy harbour provides an abundance of rock pools as the tide retreats. There is ample parking at the top of the village and the village is a popular tourist destination with plenty of attractions including the dramatic Doyden Castle, the beautiful Lundy Bay and the famous Doc Martin's clinic. There are also plenty of pubs, restaurants, and shops in the village. Just a short drive from the beaches of Polzeath, Daymer and Rock, it is perfect for romantic and family holidays alike.
