No.1 The Parade is just yards from the beautiful sandy beach of Polzeath and has been renovated and stylishly decorated in a cool, contemporary feel. The relaxed open plan living, dining and kitchen area offers a place from which to plan the days adventures. The appointed chef of the family or group will enjoy being able to socialise with everyone in this space while cooking up a treat in the well equipped kitchen. Light floods in from the large front windows, with the patio doors on one side also providing access outside to the terrace. Whether you are up with the larks or settling down with a glass of bubbly at the end of the day, stepping out onto this unique terrace means you will be able to soak up the magic that Polzeath sunrises and sunsets bring. After your frolics at the sea side, return to enjoy the four beautiful bedrooms, sleeping 6-8 guests which ensure comfort and indulgence. The master bedroom, as well as offering access outside via its patio doors, also boasts its own shower ensuite, while a separate family bathroom gives everyone else chic, modern conveniences to refresh in. Soak up the ever-changing seascape from the beach just over the road as the apartment is set right in the heart of the village above the shops, art galleries and beach-side restaurants located in the parade. The central location means you can leave the car in the single parking space in the car park situated behind the apartment, while you make the most of being at the beach or walking the coastal path. After a casual stroll across Polzeath’s sand, why not indulge in a delicious lunch and tempting tipple at the newly reopened Atlantic House Hotel’s Doom Bar restaurant, whose outside terrace affords incredible views out to sea. If you need to walk it off afterwards, follow the coastline around Pentire Point on the circular walk which takes you past the Rumps; National Trust headland with spectacular panoramic views of the sea. Polzeath Beach is a Blue Flag beach renowned for its clear waters and golden sands linked by coastal walks; take the south coastal path to nearby Daymer Bay and Rock on the protected Camel Estuary. Pack your crabbing net when pottering this way as on the way when the tide is low, children can revel in finding treasures it the rock pools at the nearby lesser known beach, Greenaway. To the north of Polzeath lies the little bay of Port Quin where local companies offer kayaking and paddle boarding opportunities and further on, the pretty fishing village of Port Isaac. While you can simply spend your time at a leisurely pace ambling around the local seaside villages and stocking up with Cornish produce at the local butchers, bakery and deli in Rock, with so much to do right on your doorstep you will be spoilt for choice as to how you enjoy your holiday here.
