“The location was perfect.”

We couldn't get over the stunning views and comfortable walks in both directions were perfect for grandparents and two year olds. We would like to thank the owners for making their beautiful house available to us.

“We had another very good week at Treleven.”

We broke one wine glass and are of course happy to pay for a replacement. Other feedback which I hope might be useful: the cooker really is a nuisance. I’ve no doubt other tenants find the same and I hope it might be upgraded before long. And one of the bedroom lamps in the main bedroom (facing to the rear of the house) was not working when we arrived. Many thanks for the usual excellent service.

The property

Treleven Cottage in Polzeath is a superb coastal holiday house situated in an enviable front line position commanding unsurpassable views towards Stepper Point, Polzeath Beach and the Atlantic Ocean. This large and luxurious holiday house has been extended over the years with particular attention to creating a comfortable and relaxing environment from which to enjoy the magnificent aspect as well as maximising the iconic views. Trelevan Cottage enjoys six stylishly decorated bedrooms, two sitting rooms and a large kitchen diner. The contemporary accommodation is arranged over two floors with many impressive features including vaulted ceilings, expansive picture windows, wood floors and stylish soft furnishings. Every part of this holiday home has been well thought out to create an ambiance of relaxed seaside living; perfect for creating memorable family holidays. A substantial wet room with two walk-in showers and drying room is a welcome space after a long day surfing or playing on the beach. The main living areas open on to a slate terrace providing an idyllic spot to sit and watch the incredible North Cornish sunsets. Sloping grounds offer plenty of private parking and a gate at the foot of the natural garden leads to the coastal footpath. It is only a 5-10 minute walk to surfers paradise Polzeath beach, or the family friendly beach at Daymer Bay. About the location

POLZEATH

Wadebridge 7.5 miles; Padstow 16 miles.

The seaside village of Polzeath boasts a sandy beach, which is bordered by rock pools and is acclaimed to be one of the best surfing beaches in the country. Polzeath itself has a number of small shops, cafes and restaurants, and the South West Coast Path, a 630-mile route, runs through the village. Just over seven miles away is the popular market town of Wadebridge, which is set alongside the River Camel and offers an array of shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as North Cornwall's only family-owned cinema. There’s wonderful countryside in the area, with the renowned Camel Trail passing through the town, and the nearby town of Padstow, with its harbour, pastel-washed medieval houses and celebrated restaurants is well worth exploring. Within driving distance is the UK surfing capital of Newquay, with over 11 miles of golden sandy beaches. Polzeath is an excellent base for exploring this part of Cornwall.
