“This is our second year at Gunyah and we were once again very happy with our stay.”
The house is as listed. It is extremely well-located, with an absolutely beautiful view of the sea. The bedrooms are comfortable and it has most of what you need for a holiday in Polzeath. There were a few things in the house that are a bit broken like a shower head that is loose, a couple of lightbulbs that had blown, a door that was hard to close but we fed back to John Bray and I expect these will be dealt with. It could probably do with a bit of an interior refresh/repaint as it is looking quite tired now - but then that is not that unusual for a beach house in Polzeath. I've given it a 4 star rating this year (5 last) because a company came unexpectedly in the middle of our stay to cut all the hedges and spent the best part of a whole day being noisy and messy. This was annoying when we were only in the house for 6 full days.... Overall though, we'd definitely book it again.
