    “Fab spacious house.”

    We chose this house on the basis of its position (near Rock village, proximity to golf course). We have dogs and this house has brilliant access for dog walking on Porthilly beach at low tide and across the golf course to the far end of Rock beach and Daymer Bay. We loved it here. ...

    We chose this house on the basis of its position (near Rock village, proximity to golf course). We have dogs and this house has brilliant access for dog walking on Porthilly beach at low tide and across the golf course to the far end of Rock beach and Daymer Bay. We loved it here. The house is almost opposite the Dining Room (fab food and service) and an easy walk to the bakery, deli and butchers. The fact that the house offers two parking spaces makes life easier for everyone when loading and unloading and the small garden is lovely for sunny mornings and afternoon book reading. We will be coming back!

Sleeping 10 guests in 5 bedrooms and pet-friendly, it is an ideal self-catering property big enough for two families or a large group of friends. Located just five minutes from Rock and the Camel Estuary, is it the perfect base to explore the North Cornish coast from. Two pets welcome by arrangement and there is parking for two cars. Lowenna Manor 8 welcomes you with an elegant open plan kitchen, living and dining area, a lovely social space with doors on to the private patio and garden, perfect for relaxing in after a day exploring the coast. Down the hallway, there is a family bathroom, a bunk bedroom and a convenient utility/wet room, ideal for drying wetsuits and a hot shower after surfing! The first floor offers a comfortable king bedroom and a twin bedroom, another family bathroom and the master bedroom with a super king-sized bed, private balcony and en-suite shower/WC. The final bedroom is tucked away on the second floor with twin beds, an en-suite shower/WC and a cosy study area on the landing. There is a rear garden; perfect for outside dining and delightful communal gardens on the grounds and a boules court which makes for hours of fun with the family. Rock is a delightful village with amazing views of the Camel Estuary. Sample fresh Cornish delicacies from the fabulous restaurants, pubs and enjoy the trendy shops. The area also boasts dramatic coastal walks that make for great days out and offer fantastic sea views. Rock beach is a dog’s heaven along with nearby Daymer Bay. A few minutes’ drive will lead you to the surfing hub of Polzeath, and further afield the traditional fishing village of Port Isaac, home to TV Series Doc Martin and Fisherman’s Friends. Rock is a desirable and much sought after coastal village located on the north eastern bank of the River Camel opposite the famous harbour town of Padstow which is easily reached by a regular ferry service. The summer home of royalty and celebrities offering top class restaurants and quality shops, the real draw is the array of watersports including sailing, water skiing, windsurfing and angling. Continuing on a sporting theme, the golf course at nearby St Enodoc is considered to be one of the best in the country.
