The property

Medway is conveniently positioned in the centre of Rock in North Cornwall, very close to the local shops including a newsagent, bakery, butcher and a fishmonger. It has a secure west-facing garden with rear views over open countryside. A central spot, Medway is ideal for exploring the wonderful beaches, estuary and golf courses that are all within easy range. The house can accommodate 8 guests in four bedrooms with four bathrooms, making it versatile for two families sharing or a family holidaying with the grandparents or friends.The holiday house has two kingsize bedrooms, both with en suites; one even has French doors leading out to the sun terrace. Twin beds and bunk beds make up the further two bedrooms. The rear garden includes a patio/sun terrace with garden furniture and a barbeque, perfect for family evening gatherings after stocking up in the nearby shops and delicatessen. Nothing beats fresh local mackerel! You can also bring your four-legged friends along (by arrangement) and take them down to the dog friendly beaches of Rock and Daymer Bay.Golfers are spoilt for choice here as they can benefit from the beautiful course at St Enodoc or in the other direction The Point at Polzeath, which also has spa, gym, tennis and swimming pool facilities. Walkers can set out to explore the stunning views from the coastal paths with a choice of easy or arduous routes. For surfing and bodyboarding we recommend Polzeath beach, with surf lessons and equipment to hire by the hour. Rock itself has a few lovely spots for evening dining, and when you have tried those, why not take the ferry to the fishing port of Padstow with pubs and restaurants aplenty. About the location

ROCK

Padstow 1.5 miles via ferry; Polzeath 2.8 miles; Wadebridge 6.2 miles.

Rock is a desirable and much sought after coastal village located on the north eastern bank of the River Camel opposite the famous harbour town of Padstow which is easily reached by a regular ferry service. The summer home of royalty and celebrities offering top class restaurants and quality shops, the real draw is the array of watersports including sailing, water skiing, windsurfing and angling. Continuing on a sporting theme, the golf course at nearby St Enodoc is considered to be one of the best in the country. With an abundance of world class beaches all within a short radius it is easy to see why Rock holds its popularity.

Please note, this property does not include bedlinen or towels. You are welcome to bring your own with you, or you can hire items from either Atlantic Laundry or Kalu Linen who will deliver your order in a bag to your holiday home.
Orders must be placed at least one week prior to your arrival.
Before ordering your linen, please check the bed configurations of your holiday cottage; especially, where zip and link beds are supplied, as you will need to let them know whether you will be using them as a twin or superking.
