“We loved the cottage, but it took a while to find.”
The name of the cottage should be on the front instead of the side entrance. You said there was car parking, but didn't mention it was up a hill and cost £3.00 per day to park. I would suggest you mention in your details that it is not suitable for less agile people who have walking difficulties. Also the double bedroom was cute and the bed comfortable, but you had to climb over the bed to get to the other side as there was very little room at the foot of the bed to get by without bruising your legs. Again, would be very difficult for anyone with mobility problems. A mirror on the dressing table would have been useful. Apart from the above, we did enjoy the cottage, it was nicely decorated and very functionable.
Thanks so much for your kind comments, we’re really pleased you enjoyed our cottage.
There is no long term parking in the village but there is a shuttle car service that runs up and down the hill from outside the Boat House, otherwise it is possible to drop off/pick up anyone with mobility issues at the cottage before parking up.
Hope this helps, and hopefully we can welcome you back to the cottage soon. Property Owner
