The property

Perched at the top of the picturesque North Cornwall village of Port Isaac, Silvershell House is a well appointed bungalow where you can enjoy sea views from all the front rooms. The famous fishing harbour is only a short walk down the hill with galleries, restaurants, quaint little cottages and plenty of art and craft shops to look around. Silvershell House is the perfect holiday cottage for familes or a small group of friends with three tastefully furnished bedrooms, a lawned garden with the added luxury of a raised decking area where you can relax and soak up the sea air. There is one off road parking space available. A calm seaside colour palette sweeps through Silvershell House equipped with modern appliances, high quality fittings and solid oak flooring throughout. The bedrooms are linked by a hallway, the master bedroom fitted with a king size bed and an ensuite shower room, a further double room with a shower ensuite and a twin bedroom where you can enjoy views of the coast. Step out into the enclosed garden from the kitchen where you can enjoy some alfresco dining after a long day exploring the North Cornwall coast. Port Isaac is more than just a fishing village, its a film and TV location, the home of Doc Martin and the Fishermans Friends, and the gateway to North Cornwall. The village is also famous for its narrow winding streets, quaint and characterful fishing cottages and of course the rugged coastline that no matter how often you visit, you fall more in love with this beautiful part of the world each time. Treat yourself to a meal at one of the Michelin-Starred Nathan Outlaw restaurants for something special or tuck in to some locally caught fish and chips on the cliffs after a long day exploring the coastline. About the location

PORT ISAAC

Polzeath 6 miles; Padstow 9 miles

Port Isaac; one of the true Cornish treasures. A beautiful fishing village nestling in a steep sided valley, the old village in the valley remains unchanged from its days of fishing, slate export and smuggling in the previous century. An abundance of small character properties complemented by larger cliff-top retreats, can be found with easy access to the numerous restaurants and shops of the village. The sandy harbour provides an abundance of rock pools as the tide retreats. Only ten minutes drive from the beaches of Polzeath, Daymer and Rock, it is perfect for romantic and family holidays alike. There is ample parking at the top of the village.
