Thank you for your feedback on the house, I am sorry to hear the house was not up to a standard we like to provide for our guests. We as owners have since visited and taken care of some of the updating and improvements you mentioned. We have also put in a complaint to our cleaning company as we pay for the house to be presented to a high standard and it was clear these were not being met. I do hope you will visit us again. The property

Trevan House, the original doctors house, offers spacious accommodation and a verdant private garden providing a tranquil place to relax in the centre of the charming working fishing village of Port Isaac, on the North Coast of Cornwall. Tucked away on a pretty street, Trevan House sleeps 10 guests in 4 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms and has been beautifully restored, offering a perfect getaway for families, with the magical harbour of Port Isaac just around the corner. The house is only a stones throw away from the coastal paths and sandy beach, which lends itself to rock pooling and beach combing. This holiday cottage offers stylish accommodation that has been finished to the highest quality, with an unusually large and pretty secluded cottage garden and garage parking for one vehicle in the heart of the village. The beamed ceilings in Trevan House are typical of the fisherman's cottages found in Port Isaac. However, the more spacious and brighter rooms upstairs are evidence of Trevan House being the grander doctor's residence that the house once was. The well equipped open plan kitchen and living room are the central hub of the house with a separate sitting room and games room for children to play in.Freshly caught fish and crabs are landed daily and can be bought straight from the sea. There are a variety of galleries, family-friendly pubs, cafes and high quality restaurants all within easy walking distance, including two run by celebrity chef Nathan Outlaw. This atmospheric fishing village is the setting of the TV Doc Martin series, and home to the Fishermans Friends who often perform open air concerts of their sea shanties on the beach during the summer months. A perfect, peaceful location to relax and enjoy your stay. Nearby Port Gaverne and Port Quin offer exhilarating sea kayak and coasteering courses. Venture slightly further afield to Polzeath beach to catch some waves and try your hand at surfing or boogie boarding. Sheltered Daymer Bay is perfect for bathing and beach picnics or BBQ's with gorgeous sunsets. While Rock is the place to go for sailing, waterskiing or wakeboarding. You can also catch the ferry from here across to Padstow to visit this historic bustling harbour.IN THE PRESS: As featured in The Telegraph and Cornwall LivingGround Floor: Open plan kitchen/family room Dining Room, Sitting Room Games Room First Floor: Bedroom 2: Double bed Bedroom 3: Double bed Bedroom 4: 2 x Bunk Beds Bathroom/WC Second Floor: Bedroom 1 Master Suite: King size bed (5'), adjoining Dressing Room with free standing bath Shower/WC Sorry No pets. Port Isaac; one of the true Cornish treasures. A beautiful fishing village nestling in a steep sided valley, the old village in the valley remains unchanged from its days of fishing, slate export and smuggling in the previous century. An abundance of small character properties complemented by larger cliff-top retreats, can be found with easy access to the numerous restaurants and shops of the village. The sandy harbour provides an abundance of rock pools as the tide retreats. Only ten minutes drive from the beaches of Polzeath, Daymer and Rock, it is perfect for romantic and family holidays alike. There is ample parking at the top of the village.

Please note parking for property is accessed up a very narrow road.
