    As far as the property we stayed in was concerned it would obviously have been better if the improvements had been completed e.g stairs to the garden area and also TVs in the bedrooms downstairs but apart from that the holiday was great.

Slipway & Anchorage

The Slipway properties are all located at the bottom of Rock, on the other side of the road from the Rock Sailing club slipway.  There are three terrace rows of houses that alll have South facing aspects and balconies and offer a perfect spot to have family groups rent multiple properties so each family can be in the same place as their friends but also have some space and time to themselves..

Watch the sailboats in the Camel Estuary while taking your morning coffee at the breakfast bar upstairs and relax in the large lounge area; this stunning, light and airy space provides the perfect backdrop for open plan seaside living. Perfect for spending time together, this fantastic social area features a brand new kitchen with plenty of room for the elected chef to indulge themselves and is well equipped for whipping up anything from a quick Cornish cream tea to a delectable family feast. Take a leisurely lunch outside on the extensive balcony, sit back with a glass of bubbly and gaze at the rippling waters beyond. At the end of the day when needing to recharge, the master bedroom upstairs has a sumptuous king-size bed with doors leading directly onto the glorious balcony and an ensuite. A delightful passenger ferry ride whisks you across the river to the picturesque harbourside of Padstow and Rick Stein's restaurants or a simpler meal of fish and chips on the harbour wall. Rock is a desirable and much sought after coastal village located on the north eastern bank of the River Camel opposite the famous harbour town of Padstow which is easily reached by a regular ferry service. The summer home of royalty and celebrities offering top class restaurants and quality shops, the real draw is the array of watersports including sailing, water skiing, windsurfing and angling. Continuing on a sporting theme, the golf course at nearby St Enodoc is considered to be one of the best in the country.
