The property

September Corner is a secluded, south-facing, semi-detached property adjoining a quiet lane leading down to the foreshore and beach at Porthilly. This welcoming, up-to-date property has a well-planted garden, paved terrace, off-road parking and is within walking distance of the shops at Rock on the North Cornwall coast. With beautiful views over the Camel estuary, this holiday house welcomes a pet by arrangement. The three bedrooms all have a balcony from which to watch the tide ebb and flow. The comfy lounge leads out onto the sun-drenched terrace via French windows; a perfect spot for meals outside or a relaxed moment with a map of the local area or simply to enjoy the view across the water to Padstow and the iron bridge. The attractive blue and white themed kitchen is a pleasant space in which to create a supper with Porthilly mussels and Cornish cheese and bread from the excellent Rock bakery. Children and adults will enjoy table tennis tournaments in the evenings.Tucked away from the main Rock thoroughfare, this is a lovely peaceful location where you can really get away from it all if you wish. Nip down the lane to Porthilly beach to walk the dog before heading off to spend the day surfing at Polzeath, or sailing and fishing at Rock. Catch the ferry to Padstow to meet friends for a glamorous supper at one of Rick Stein's restaurants or cafes; catch the water-taxi back home after dark. From Porthilly you can saunter to Rock beach with your children for some sandcastle-building or have fun trying to dam the river. A brief ride in the car will bring you to Port Isaac for a walk around a picture-perfect Cornish fishing village. In the other direction, pay a visit to Wadebridge, an attractive market town with a cinema and many independent shops. Accommodation: Lounge with Sofa Bed Kitchen/Diner Cloakroom/W.C. Bathroom/W.C.
