    We had friends use it for one night and they were not comfortable. Other than that the house was of a high standard and we had an enjoyable stay.

The property

The Cottage is a delightful, charming attached traditional fisherman's holiday cottage, a stone's throw from the waters of the Camel Estuary down towards the end of the Rock road, close to the busy pontoon. Enjoy finding a sunny spot in the attractive, enclosed, terraced gardens with a book, or relax with a cold drink on the decked terrace perfectly placed to appreciate the outstanding waterside views. The self catering cottage can sleep 6-8 guests in 3 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms, suiting a group of friends or a large family. There is private parking for two cars and the option to bring the family pet.This cottage has a vaulted open plan lounge/dining room with a fabulous window from the peak of the eaves to a convenient cushioned window seat, where you can enjoy those estuary views. More windows and comfy sofas make even cold and wet days here wonderful and enjoyable, pop an extra log on the wood burner and hunker down to sit out any exciting winter storms that may pass by. There is a super king bedroom upstairs and two twin bedrooms downstairs, one of which is accessed from a snug room containing two single sofa beds that may also be used. Due to the traditional nature of the cottage, there are lower ceilings downstairs.With the beach and waterfront of the Camel Estuary on your doorstep, the sailing, water skiing, rowing or paddle boarding activities are all available for you to try your hand at. The fairways of St Enodoc Golf Course and the Golf club are just up the hill behind the cottage. On a low tide its possible to walk from the beach at Rock alongside the sand dunes all the way around to Daymer Bay and return via a circular route, passing the quaint little St Enodoc church and skirting the golf course.Ground Floor: Entrance Porch Snug with 2 Single Sofa Beds leading to Bedroom 1 Bedroom 1: Twin Beds (3ft) Bedroom 2: Twin Beds (3 ft Zip & Link to 6ft) * Shower Room/W.C. Rock is a desirable and much sought after coastal village located on the north eastern bank of the River Camel opposite the famous harbour town of Padstow which is easily reached by a regular ferry service. The summer home of royalty and celebrities offering top class restaurants and quality shops, the real draw is the array of watersports including sailing, water skiing, windsurfing and angling. Continuing on a sporting theme, the golf course at nearby St Enodoc is considered to be one of the best in the country. With an abundance of world class beaches all within a short radius it is easy to see why Rock holds its popularity.
