The property

Tringa is having a new kitchen installed early 2021* Tringa is a traditional country cottage situated in Daymer Lane with gorgeous views towards the Camel Estuary on the North Cornwall coast. This family holiday house is an idyllic haven by-the-sea for busy families to really relax and appreciate the peaceful location, whilst also having many activities and water sports to hand, to keep everyone happy and entertained. Wander down with a blanket to escape with a good book or just to lounge in the sunshine. Tringa offers plenty of room for 8/9 guests sleeping in 5 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms. Four bedrooms are located on the ground floor which includes a master super king bedroom with a bathroom ensuite plus another three twin bedrooms all with a traditional basin in each that share a family bathroom and a shower room. The living areas are spacious with separate spaces for the kitchen diner, lounge area and a separate living room - so that everyone can find their own peaceful spot in the house. The rear patio area is a real sun-trap and a perfect spot to enjoy a family meal in the evenings.Daymer Bay with its wide sandy beach and fascinating rock pools, flanked by enormous sand dunes is a mere stroll away. The beach shop provides refreshments and the usual beach side paraphernalia, so pack a picnic to spend the whole day relaxing on the beach. Head to the nearby beach at Polzeath with youngsters or teenagers, who will revel in its surf culture, fashion shops and all sorts of water sports to try out. Lifeguards patrol the beach and seas in the summer making it a safe swimming or surfing option. TREBETHERICK

Wadebridge 8 miles.

Trebetherick straddles the Polzeath to Wadebridge road and extends west to Daymer Bay and northwest to Trebetherick Point, a rocky headland in the estuary. Daymer Bay with a sandy beach provides safe bathing for holidaying families and is also popular with windsurfers. Brea Hill located at the south end of Daymer Bay makes for an energetic walk for all. Trebetherick has a general stores and Polzeath is only half a mile away with a selection of shops and restaurants around a sandy surfing beach. The water sports haven of Rock is only 1 ½ miles away with a ferry running frequently between Rock and Padstow. The area has several coastal walking opportunities, and is close to St Enodoc's championship golf course. Rock also features a collection of shops including a delicatessen, butchers, and bakers, however for more extensive shopping facilities the town of Wadebridge is approximately 8 miles away.
