The property

This well proportioned, detached property is set in an elevated position commanding far reaching views over Daymer Bay and St Enodoc Golf Course. Benefitting from a semi-enclosed garden and within a quick walk to the beautiful Daymer Bay, this property is a perfect match for families with children that enjoy beach life and coastal path walks. With generous living spaces the house sleeps 6 guests in 3 bedrooms plus 2 children in a bunk room. The private driveway gives ample private parking and useful space for boats and surfboards. The well-equipped kitchen and large, bright lounge lead onto a sunny paved terrace where you can soak up the gorgeous views whilst dining alfresco. The main bedroom boasts a kingsize bed and ensuite bathroom. The other upstairs twin bedroom shares a family bathroom with the bunk room and the bedroom downstairs is adjacent to its own shower room. Sailors and surfers can hang their wetsuits to dry in the garage. Pets are welcome by arrangement.Daymer Bay is an amazing place for a holiday with the ease of being able to walk straight onto stunning coastal paths with the dogs or stroll onto the beach with a surf or body board. Walk to the nearby farm shop to collect fresh veggies or up the hill to Trebetherick Stores for your morning newspaper and croissants. Polzeath beach is a couple of minutes drive for enthusiastic surfers and swimmers. Numerous cool cafes and shops offer a chance to refuel and stock up. Daymer Bay and the village of Trebetherick were both loved by Sir John Betjeman and are unquestionably special. With a huge appeal to both the young and not so young, Daymer Bay has recently been voted one of the best beaches in the world! St. Enodoc Church, once buried in the sand, is within comfortable walking distance of Daymer Bay and is the resting place of Sir John Betjeman. Daymer Bay holds great appeal for wind surfers, kite surfers and paddle boarders, with the gentle waves rolling up the estuary. There is enormous fun too for small children with buckets and spades and fishing in the rock pools. At low tide you can walk across the sand to the village of Rock to indulge in a spot of retail therapy or a bite to eat at one of the many delicious eateries, or catch the short ferry ride and explore the delights of Padstow. Up from the coast path as it runs from Daymer Bay is Highcliffe, nestling between Polzeath and Trebetherick, both of which boast a number of pubs, restaurants and village stores all offering a wide variety of fresh quality produce. The properties at Highcliffe have the advantage of being within easy reach of Daymer, Polzeath and Greenaway - Greenaway being the name given to the clifftop area, beach and small cove with rock pools overlooking the Atlantic beyond that lies between Daymer and Polzeath.
