The property

Nestled at the end of a row of cottages and next to the ancient 12th century church, Honeysuckle Cottage oozes old-world charm and comfort all within just a quick walk to the local pub and post office. A beautifully decorated and furnished self catering property with well proportioned rooms and a cosy feel. There is some parking just a mere 30 metres away on the road. Typical for a quintessential Cornish cottage, the flagstone slate floor, beamed ceilings and deep set windows evoke the charm of a past era. The wood burning stove adds cosiness in the sitting room and additional heating throughout ensures it is comfortable for breaks during the cooler months. Sleeping arrangements are flexible with a double bedroom and a large bedroom equipped with a day bed and twin beds which can zip and link to make a 6ft bed. There is an elevated and enclosed garden at the rear with far reaching views. A couple of miles away in Rock itself has a good selection of shops including a bakery, butchers and fish shop where you can buy fresh local fish, often caught by the Rock, Padstow or Port Isaac fisherman. Those of you who wish to dine out, The Fourways Inn in St Minver serving Cornish ales and delicious pub menu is within a short stroll or try one of the restaurants in and around Rock. St Minver

The seaside village of Polzeath boasts a sandy beach, which is bordered by rock pools and is acclaimed to be one of the best surfing beaches in the country.
