“The access and leaving times are unreasonable, 4.”

30pm entry on first day and 9am on leaving day brought in for covid reasons should now be changed back to pre covid.

The property

Stokes Cottage is an attractive home in the secluded village of St. Minver, with nicely furnished interiors that create a calm and comfortable atmosphere, just up the quiet path from the enchanting 12th Century Church. This is a wonderful place to stay; boasting an idyllic blend of the original cottage's character that has been preserved while being meticulously updated with tasteful, contemporary furnishings and modern amenities. You can begin your Cornish break by kicking off your shoes and relaxing into the sofa to recuperate after a days adventure. In the winter, this is the ideal place to pass away the hours by cuddling up with a book in front of a crackling open fire after a brisk seaside stroll! Following through into the brand-new kitchen, you will find all of the culinary facilities you require, whether it is to prepare you for the day ahead with a full English breakfast or to conjure up a substantial family meal. After a day at the beach, return to your Cornish hideaway for a well-deserved glass of wine in the enclosed courtyard, which is finished with an appealing slate patio and surrounding landscaping. Upstairs, the charming master bedroom is flooded with natural light from the sash windows, while the bright, airy twin bedroom provides extra adults or children with their own comfortable space to relax and unwind. The new, modern bathroom features a stand-alone shower as well as the maximum convenience of modern facilities for refreshing. Within the village of St. Minver, you can potter up the lane to the Fourways pub and refuel with a delicious lunch, or head over to the local beach at Rock, which is famous for its sandy shores that stretch all the way to the Camel Estuary. You may improve your talents on the water with Camel Ski School's water-skiing and sailing activities, or for a more laid-back setting, soak up the ambiance in any of the numerous local bars, cafes, and restaurants. Continue on from Rock to explore the coastline with a scenic walk along the South West Coastal Path around Brea Hill (or up and over for those with a bucketful of enthusiasm!) to the stunning Daymer Bay, Greenaway, and Polzeath. Make memories together at Stokes Cottage.
