Located on the footpath to Porthilly Beach Sandyhills are a collection of lovely individually built and owned chalet style houses.  Very easy walk to the shops lovely outlook over an area of outstanding natural beauty.

The property

Talland House is a modern holiday cottage located within a small south-facing development a short distance from Rock village on the North Cornwall coast. Reverse-level living makes the most of the views over the surrounding countryside. With parking for 2 cars, an enclosed garden plus a large paved terrace with built-in barbecue, this is a lovely seaside retreat for a family or small group of friends. Sleeps 6 people in 3 bedrooms.Generously furnished, the upstairs kitchen/living area is open-plan; doors lead onto a balcony where you can look out onto mature trees and fields beyond while you sip a coffee, or relax over an alfresco meal. Keep cosy by lighting the wood-burner in the lounge on a crisp day. Join the footpath around the corner for a quick stroll downhill through fields to Porthilly Cove and Rock beach.Rock's excellent range of food shops and newsagent are just a short walk away; the restaurants and cafes down by the water are also within strolling distance; at low or mid-tide you can reach these via the beach. Numerous activities both on and off the water will keep all the family busy and happy, including sailing, kayaking, water-skiing, hiking on the coastal paths and golf at The Point at Polzeath or St Enodoc. Catch the ferry to Padstow for a slap-up seafood supper, a round of crazy golf and wonderful walks to Hawkers Cove and Stepper Point. Head to Polzeath beach for a surfing vibe; surf schools and hire will provide you with all the kit and knowledge for some exhilarating wave riding whether you are prone on a boogie board or standing up 'hanging five' Accommodation: Open plan Lounge/Diner with doors to Terrace Kitchen/Diner Utility Room Walk in Shower/Basin/W.C. Padstow 1.5 miles via ferry; Polzeath 2.8 miles; Wadebridge 6.2 miles.

Rock is a desirable and much sought after coastal village located on the north eastern bank of the River Camel opposite the famous harbour town of Padstow which is easily reached by a regular ferry service. The summer home of royalty and celebrities offering top class restaurants and quality shops, the real draw is the array of watersports including sailing, water skiing, windsurfing and angling. Continuing on a sporting theme, the golf course at nearby St Enodoc is considered to be one of the best in the country. With an abundance of world class beaches all within a short radius it is easy to see why Rock holds its popularity.

Please note, this property does not include bedlinen or towels. You are welcome to bring your own with you, or you can hire items from Atlantic Laundry, who will deliver your order in a bag to your holiday home.
Orders must be placed at least one week prior to your arrival.
Before ordering your linen, please check the bed configurations of your holiday cottage; especially, where zip and link beds are supplied, as you will need to let them know whether you will be using them as a twin or superking.
