Set in an idyllic location, just a few seconds walk from Rock beach, The Boat House offers outstanding views across the Camel Estuary on the north Cornwall coast. Capitalising on those stunning water views from the kitchen-dining room and living areas both open out onto the balcony, a perfect setting to relax any time of day and enjoy the vista. This self catering holiday home can accommodate up to six guests comfortable in three bedrooms spread over the ground and first floor with two bathrooms making The Boat House an ideal getaway for a small family or group. A large private driveway offers off-raod parking for multiple cars and/or a small boat. The Boat House offers the perfect base from which to make your time in Rock as relaxing or active as you like, the only positive challenge is how incredibly distracting the views are! Light and airy in the upstairs open plan area, guests can enjoy the spacious interiors, furnished very comfortably in a traditional style. The bright open plan kitchen offers a breakfast bar and dining area overlooking the estuary. Soak in the views and watch the sailboats on the water from the large first floor balcony, perhaps taking breakfast outside or sitting back with a glass of bubbly as the sun sets across the water. Retreat back inside to spend time catching up together with your favourite board game or curl up on the sofas with a book in the evenings. At the end of your day, rest and recharge: one double bedroom features views out to the estuary and a further double bedroom and twin bedroom on the first floor offer sleeping arrangements for six guests. The Boat House boasts a garage and large private driveway; useful if bringing a small boat or any beach equipment with convenient accessibility to the slipway, just around the corner. Watersports enthusiasts will appreciate The Boat House’s situation opposite Camel Ski School, the ultimate convenience to enjoy fantastic activities on the water and hop across the lane back to the comfort of your holiday home. Walks can be taken straight from the house, either onto the beach at low tide or through the dunes on the coastal path, around to Daymer Bay. Guests can wander up the road to the revered Mariners Pub and let local chef Paul Ainsworth’s team tempt you with their menu and a pick-me-up by Sharp’s Brewery. Alternatively, just around the corner, there is the Blue Tomato, Rock Inn and The Taproom which all offer alluring options to dine or refresh yourselves. To revel in a little seaside retail therapy, visit the few shops at the bottom of Rock just moments away from The Boat House or take the ferry across from Rock beach to Padstow and potter around the picturesque harbour.
