    “No refund of £200 security deposit which I have had to chase.”

    This should be done automatically. I am still due a £50 refund due to lack of cleanliness in the property (see copy of email that follows). This has not yet been sent to me. Copy of email ------------------ We called into the Rock office on Tuesday 28th September to complain about the lack of cleanliness in Treperran. We were advised to email our comments which we did on 30th September (copy of this is below). To summarise: - lack to cleanliness is unacceptable. Two chopping boards had mold and food remnants on them. Also refer to the many other comments (photos sent in email. - website photos don't reflect reality of the property. For example, the kitchen cupboards are falling apart and are dirty. - the property lacks any kind of warmth and is barely adequate as a holiday home (we've stayed in many). For example, there is no wardrobe in the master bedroom. We never expect any property to be perfect but this one falls below an acceptable standard and there were too many negatives to not warrant comment.

The property

Treperran is a charming traditional holiday cottage nestled in the quiet village of Trebetherick between Daymer Bay and Polzeath on the North Cornwall coast. Well positioned for shops, beaches, local amenities and benefits from a large garden, parking and garage; perfect for storing beach kit, boards and bikes. This cosy holiday cottage is a suitable base for a family of 6 or a small group with three comfortably furnished bedrooms, two of which that are located on the ground floor. The accommodation has a separate simple kitchen diner and reception area that leads out into the conservatory where you can sink into a chair and relax with an afternoon tea and appreciate the Cornish countryside views. Bedroom one is a king size bedroom located on the first floor with a bathroom ensuite along with the spacious lounge area, a perfect space to relax watching a favourite movie after a busy day exploring the coast. The further two bedrooms on the ground floor; a zip and link bedroom with shower ensuite and a twin bedroom with the sole use of the family bathroom. The location of Treperran is close to some of the best North Cornwall beaches but also within walking distance of the Mowhay Cafe where families can eat outside in the sunshine. Or why not make the most of the gardens at Treperran and treat yourself to some gourmet local meals from the Fee's Food in Rock or the little shop at The Pityme Pub. Take a stroll down to the tranquil Daymer Bay with the family, here you can build sand castles and have a gentle paddle and stroll around its sheltered cove. The nearby Polzeath is great for surfers, kayakers and bodyboarders with equipment and lessons easy to arrange on site. About the location

TREBETHERICK

Wadebridge 8 miles.

Trebetherick straddles the Polzeath to Wadebridge road and extends west to Daymer Bay and northwest to Trebetherick Point, a rocky headland in the estuary. Daymer Bay with a sandy beach provides safe bathing for holidaying families and is also popular with windsurfers. Brea Hill located at the south end of Daymer Bay makes for an energetic walk for all. Trebetherick has a general stores and Polzeath is only half a mile away with a selection of shops and restaurants around a sandy surfing beach. The water sports haven of Rock is only 1 ½ miles away with a ferry running frequently between Rock and Padstow. The area has several coastal walking opportunities, and is close to St Enodoc's championship golf course. Rock also features a collection of shops including a delicatessen, butchers, and bakers, however for more extensive shopping facilities the town of Wadebridge is approximately 8 miles away.
