A delightful retreat, Millers Cottage is amongst a cluster of converted old mill buildings surrounded by an area of outstanding natural beauty. As you walk in, you are greeted with a calm and characterful open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area with plenty of comfy seating for everyone to chill out and unwind and the cosy wood-burner is sure to keep you warm whatever the weather. The bedrooms are located on opposite ends of the social room, the master bedroom equipped with a king size bed is near the family shower room shared between both bedrooms. Outside, enjoy a delightful little garden, set up with all your holiday needs in mind – a picnic table ideal for al fresco dining with the use of a locked shed for all your beach gear and a quiet area to sit out and enjoy the peace. As if this cottage wasn’t enough, this is a terrific base for enjoying this special part of north Cornwall. The coastline is strewn with great beaches with family and dog friendly Daymer Bay and the surfers’ favourite Polzeath right on your doorstep. At Rock you can try your hand at sailing, windsurfing and water skiing, stroll around the shops and stock up on some provisions or take the foot ferry across the estuary to Padstow, which surely needs no introduction. The Camel Trail invites you to hop on a bike and enjoy the cycle along the river estuary, and after all that exercise why not head back to the local village pub for a traditional pub meal. St Minver

The seaside village of Polzeath boasts a sandy beach, which is bordered by rock pools and is acclaimed to be one of the best surfing beaches in the country. Polzeath itself has a number of small shops, cafes and restaurants, and the South West Coast Path, a 630-mile route, runs through the village.
