A fantastic located building in the heart of Daymer that was re-built as 8 flats in 2004/05. They all have car parking and individual outside space, either balconies or private garden areas, but they also all share a large sunny garden which has multiple areas of lawn around mature flower beds and trees.  At the bottom of the garden a gate takes you onto the footpath to the beach or onward to the St Enodoc Church, Brea Hill, the Coast path to Rock or even the ferry to Padstow.

The property

Bodare 3 is a spacious, open plan ground floor holiday apartment in a fabulous location halfway down Daymer Lane, in what was formally a country house hotel. A perfect setting for a seaside holiday, as the beach and seashore is just a two-minute walk away from a footpath leading directly from the beautiful communal gardens. The apartment will sleep 6 guests in 3 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms, making it ideal for a family, or group of friends with the benefit of parking for two cars. Bodare 3 has full use of the large, sheltered gardens with stretches of lawns for garden games but also plenty of mature shrubbery and trees, creating idyllic places to relax quietly with a book or the morning papers. This self catering holiday apartment has a king size bedroom, one twin room, (which could be converted via zip and link to a 6ft bed) and a useful bunk room. The kitchen is a lovely sociable space as it over looks the dining table and lounge beyond, where big patio doors lead out to a private terrace and garden area, a perfect setting for al fresco meals, Cornish cream teas or just a peaceful sunbathing spot, bordered by lavender with a gate onto the communal gardens. The footpath at the end of the garden will lead you down to the soft, golden sands of Daymer Bay, through sand dunes and skirting the famous St Enodoc Golf Course. Take a detour to discover the crooked spire and tiny church of St Enodoc, indelibly associated with the late Poet Laureate Sir John Betjeman, who was buried here in 1984. Trebetherick has a village shop for essentials and a great cafe/restaurant called The Mowhay where on sunny days and balmy evenings you can enjoy their delicious seasonal foods outside, under twinkling lights, or feel the warmth of the wood burner in the cosy interior.Accommodation: Porch Kitchen Sitting/Dining Room Bedroom 1: Kingsize Bed (5ft) Shower/W.C. About the location

Polzeath 1.3 miles; Rock 2.3 miles.

Daymer Bay and the village of Trebetherick were both loved by Sir John Betjeman and are unquestionably special. With a huge appeal to both the young and not so young, Daymer Bay has recently been voted one of the best beaches in the world! St. Enodoc Church, once buried in the sand, is within comfortable walking distance of Daymer Bay and is the resting place of Sir John Betjeman. Daymer Bay holds great appeal for wind surfers with the waves rolling up the estuary. There is enormous fun too for small children with buckets and spades and fishing in the rock pools. Up from the coast path as it runs from Daymer Bay is Highcliffe, nestling between Polzeath and Trebetherick, both of which boast a number of pubs, restaurants and village stores all offering a wide variety of fresh quality produce. The properties at Highcliffe have the advantage of being within easy reach of Daymer, Polzeath and Greenaway - Greenaway being the name given to the clifftop area, beach and small cove with rock pools overlooking the Atlantic beyond that lies between Daymer and Polzeath.

Under the terms of our lease at Bodare no pets are allowed (even dogs of visiting friends) so you must not allow any pets in the grounds or car park areas during your stay under any circumstances.
