    “The cottage location is fab.”

You get what you pay for and the pictures are not misleading however the decor and furniture need updating. Kitchen well equipped however not a lot of cupboard space for grocery, massive wine rack on the wall could be better utilised. Living room, carpet and furniture old and on last legs, TV system is all wrong, the tv that is there needs to be upgraded to a SMART TV. Smell of damp downstairs was overpowering however read previous comments and we brought an electric air freshener which helped massively as all the plug ins were empty of any perfumes. Hallway again first impressions carpet and walls need an overhaul. Bedroom main no issues there Bathroom ok Didn’t use the top floor as only two of us. Decking no issues. We had the dehumidifier on and must have emptied twice a day helped with the damp smell. Overall it served the purpose for us however it is tiered and requires investment.

About the location

PORT ISAAC

Polzeath 6.5 miles; Padstow 16 miles

Port Isaac; one of the true Cornish treasures. A beautiful fishing village nestling in a steep sided valley, the old village in the valley remains unchanged from its days of fishing, slate export and smuggling in the previous century. An abundance of small character properties complemented by larger cliff-top retreats, can be found with easy access to the numerous restaurants and shops of the village. The sandy harbour provides an abundance of rock pools as the tide retreats. There is ample parking at the top of the village and the village is a popular tourist destination with plenty of attractions including the dramatic Doyden Castle, the beautiful Lundy Bay and the famous Doc Martin's clinic. There are also plenty of pubs, restaurants, and shops in the village. Just a short drive from the beaches of Polzeath, Daymer and Rock, it is perfect for romantic and family holidays alike.

Please note: The stairs to the top floor attic bedroom are narrow and steep with limited headroom. The small outside decking area is not suitable for unaccompanied children. The steps up to the front door are steep so may not be suitable for people with mobility problems.
The wood burner is not for guests use.

The parking space is located 50m up the road from the property in the Quarry Car Park.
