The property

Originally built in the mid 1800's, Creel Cottage is a stunning two bedroom holiday cottage nestled at the end of Middle Street in Port Isaac on the North Cornwall coast. Here, you are conveniently located for everything Port Isaac has to offer, including a selction of shops, restaurants and pubs serving the catch of the day. Completely renovated in 2016, this self catering cottage was finished to a very high standard whilst retaining its orginal character and charm. Perfect for a romantic getaway or couples sharing, Creel Cottage can sleep up to 4 guests in 2 stylishly furnished bedrooms that share a spacious bathroom. Private parking space for two cars at the top of the village. This boutique style living greets you as you walk in at Creel Cottage. A contrast of dark and light colours flow through the house creating a sense of space and modern design whilst remembering its routes with slate flooring throughout the ground floor, a stone fireplace, exposed beams and vaulted ceilings. The high specification kitchen has all you could need to prepare a home cooked meal with slate steps into the lounge diner where you can sink into a sumptious chair in front of the fire after a long day exploring the coastline. The first floor comprises of two double bedrooms that share a deluxe bathroom with the option of a freestanding bath and seperate shower. The bedrooms are finished with a calming colour palette of white and grey with views across the village. Port Isaac is a historic fishing village famed for its picturesque fishermans cottages and narrow streets. There are a variety of galleries, cafe's and high quality restaurants all on your doorstep, including two run by the celebirty chef Nathan Outlaw. The surrounding coastal paths are dramatic and rugged as they travel through the coves and headlands, sightings of rare birds and even the occasional glimpse of a seal or dolphins are not uncommon. The nearby cove of Port Gaverne just over the hill is an unspoilt sheltered spot where you can find a rock to sit on whilst enjoying some local fish and chips of an evening. Take your time exploring the fascinating rock pools and have a go at snorkelling out alongside the cliffs or simply enjoy a swim in the refreshing waters.
