“Such a perfect place to stay when you are a mixed group of ages - plus dog.”

The layout is excellent, with the large sitting room at the other end, with the busy kitchen & dining area plus snug & 2nd television at the other.

The layout is excellent, with the large sitting room at the other end, with the busy kitchen & dining area plus snug & 2nd television at the other. Toddlers & small ones can tour around the circuit in complete safety. The garden is sheltered, & dog proof, & perfect for eating out.

The property

Guelder Rose is a spacious, detached, well equipped bungalow located around the corner from all the Rock village amenities including a grocery store, bakery, butcher and fishmonger. The property has the advantage of a sunny, enclosed, lawned garden with a private patio, and parking space for 3 or 4 cars. Ideal for a large gathering, this calming self-catering holiday house sleeps 7-8 people in 4 bedrooms and dogs are welcome by arrangement.A separate TV/children's room is a useful extra living area and has a futon bed for the 8th guest. The level lawn is an ideal place for garden games; perhaps bring along a badminton set or boules? Do as much or as little cooking as you wish in the homely kitchen; fill up the freezer with fresh pre-cooked meals, giving you more time on the beach! The cosy living room with plenty of comfy seating makes this property ideal for Autumn or Winter breaks where you can curl up with a favourite novel. With a handy location in the heart of Rock, you are well-placed to enjoy all that the village offers and a short walk brings you to many of the excellent restaurants and cafes on offer.
