The property

September Tide, is a detached holiday bungalow, available to rent within the grounds of Gullsway. With lovely sea views, this self-catering property sleeps 4 people in 2 bedrooms. Located at Highcliffe, Polzeath, Gullsway comprises two detached holiday cottages in an elevated, clifftop position overlooking the beach and the ocean and is within easy walking distance of the shops and beach via the coastal path. Accessed via an unmade road, the large cottage and detached holiday bungalow can collectively sleep up to 19 guests in total in two self-contained apartments; Kittiwake and Sandpiper.The spacious garden is mainly laid to lawn with a gate to the cliff path and is for the use of all tenants as is the parking area to the rear. Duvets and bed linen are included for all properties. A communal laundry includes automatic washing machine and tumble dryer. Night store heating is provided at no extra cost. Up to two pets are permitted in each apartment and tenants are asked to give consideration to occupants of adjoining holiday cottages.With so much opportunity to swim, surf and hike on your doorstep there is no need to venture far. However you may wish to absorb some historic culture by going on an outing to Port Isaac, a picturesque fishing village some 20 minutes drive away. Visit Rock, a sailing and waterskiing hub, then catch the ferry across the estuary to explore Padstow, a working fishing harbour, with great restaurants and shopping. Prideaux Place up the hill from Padstow harbour is an interesting Elizabethan manor house and garden, well worth a visit.Detached bungalow accommodation: Sitting Room with french windows to garden Dining Room Kitchen Bedroom 1: Kingsize Bed (5ft) Bedroom 2: Twin Beds Bathroom with Walk-in Shower, basin and W.C. POLZEATH

Wadebridge 7.5 miles; Padstow 16 miles.

The seaside village of Polzeath boasts a sandy beach, which is bordered by rock pools and is acclaimed to be one of the best surfing beaches in the country. Polzeath itself has a number of small shops, cafes and restaurants, and the South West Coast Path, a 630-mile route, runs through the village. Just over seven miles away is the popular market town of Wadebridge, which is set alongside the River Camel and offers an array of shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as North Cornwall's only family-owned cinema. There’s wonderful countryside in the area, with the renowned Camel Trail passing through the town, and the nearby town of Padstow, with its harbour, pastel-washed medieval houses and celebrated restaurants is well worth exploring. Within driving distance is the UK surfing capital of Newquay, with over 11 miles of golden sandy beaches. Polzeath is an excellent base for exploring this part of Cornwall.
