Sandyhills

Located on the footpath to Porthilly Beach Sandyhills are a collection of lovely individually built and owned chalet style houses.  Very easy walk to the shops lovely outlook over an area of outstanding natural beauty.

The property

A holiday villa set within a small south-facing development offering countryside views, Hatchlands is centrally positioned close to all the Rock village amenities in North Cornwall. The reverse-level accommodation allows the open plan living/kitchen area to open out onto a sunny balcony - perfect for breakfast in the sunshine. Excellent value, this self-catering holiday house comfortably sleeps 6 people in three bedrooms with private parking. Hatchlands is dog-friendly and accepts two pets by arrangement. Relax after a long day on the beach in the spacious lounge with its vaulted ceiling. Bedrooms are bright and lovingly decorated with colourful patchwork quilts, whilst bedroom 1 has a smart ensuite shower room attached. Modern and practical, the kitchen is a serene space for the keen cook, or if you want a holiday from cooking, tuck into some freshly cooked fish and chips out on your balcony. A convenient location for exploring the north Cornish coast, you can access the local services easily from Hatchlands; walk up the road to the newsagents for your daily paper, stop in at the butcher and bakery. For an evening meal stroll over the The Dining Room or the St Enodoc Hotel for a gourmet feast. Walkers should take the footpath in the other direction across beautiful countryside to Porthilly Cove and beyond to Rock beach where you can tire out your dog on the mile of sandy beach, before relaxing at a choice of bustling cafes, pubs and restaurants. A short drive brings you to the crashing surf of Polzeath beach or the Cornish charm of Port Isaac harbour. Rock is a desirable and much sought after coastal village located on the north eastern bank of the River Camel opposite the famous harbour town of Padstow which is easily reached by a regular ferry service. The summer home of royalty and celebrities offering top class restaurants and quality shops, the real draw is the array of watersports including sailing, water skiing, windsurfing and angling. Continuing on a sporting theme, the golf course at nearby St Enodoc is considered to be one of the best in the country. With an abundance of world class beaches all within a short radius it is easy to see why Rock holds its popularity.
