    “We enjoyed our stay here.”

    The location is great: just uphill from the beach, with the ability to check the surf from the main bedroom and living room. Sofas were comfy and the shower was good. The outside tap and garage were useful for beach gear and we loved the bunnies on the lawn each day. There was no washing up liquid. Not a problem for us as we brought our own, but it seemed like the previous visitors had not left some kitchen items that clean as a result. A few things would benefit from some updating but for the ...

The property

Hillview, as the name suggests is perched at the top of Higher Tristram overlooking Polzeath beach and out towards Pentire Head on the North Cornwall coast. Perfectly placed above the sand, sea and surf, you can park up and forget about your car here with everything on your doorstep. This seaside self catering holiday cottage can cater up to 6 guests in 3 comfortable bedrooms suitable for a family or small group who are keen to explore the Cornish coast. Guests can keep and eye on the tides and beach activities in comfort from the lounge, terrace and garden. Put your feet up and unwind with a novel and enjoy a good dose of sea air on the terrace and garden. For those cooler evenings, challenge the family to board game with a beach view as a back drop or sink into a chair in front of the TV with a favourite film. You can appreciate the same beach and coastal views in bedroom 1 at the front of the property, the further two cosy bedrooms are found at the rear of the property, the bunk bedroom and twin bedroom at the end of the hallway. The garage can be used by guests to store your outside luggage such as; beach gear, bikes, boards which is equipped with a washing machine. Just a stones throw from Polzeath beach and village amenities, you can forget about your car here at Hillview. From your doorstep, take a stroll down the hill to Polzeath beach, perfect for sun bathing, sand castle building, exploring the rock pools at low tide, visit the surf school's on the beach to book in; surf lessons for any level, paddle boarding, boat trips and many more. With all this on the beach, beachside, you can find cafe's, restaurants, a local grocery store and local shops for some retail therapy.
