The property

Stunning Spindrift is a beautifully appointed house set in lawned grounds with uninterrupted sea views across the mouth of the estuary and the magnificent Atlantic ocean beyond. This luxurious holiday house can sleep 12 guests comfortably in 6 comfortable bedrooms with 4 bathrooms. This classic cliffside holiday house is accessed via a private unmade road, while a coastal footpath runs from the gate at the bottom of the garden down to one of the North Cornwall coastline's most beautiful and dramatic beaches. This large luxury coastal house has three storeys; the lower ground floor has a master bedroom with a super king size bed and an en suite bathroom. Then there are four further bedrooms each with twin beds and a further bedroom with a king size bed. One of the two balconies wraps around to the sun room, so if the sun is beating down you can recline outside to soak up those incredible views. If the salty sea breezes blow, simply close the bifold doors and enjoy your morning breakfast or evening sundowners in the sun room and still benefit from those endless views of the blue sea and dramatic skyscapes. If you can tear yourselves away from Spindrift, we recommend jumping in the car and heading around the coast to the pretty fishing village of Port Isaac or on to Port Gaverne, Trebarwith Strand or possibly the historic King Arthur's Castle at Tintagel. Closer to home there is wonderful sailing from Rock, while budding surfers will enjoy the waves and surf buzz at Polzeath beach. Cyclists in your party may wish to hire bikes in Padstow or Wadebridge and follow the wonderful Camel trail alongside the picturesque Camel estuary.Ground Floor: Large Living/Dining Room Sun Lounge Kitchen Ground Floor Bathroom/W.C. About the location

DAYMER BAY

Daymer Bay and the village of Trebetherick were both loved by Sir John Betjeman and are unquestionably special. With a huge appeal to both the young and not so young, Daymer Bay has recently been voted one of the best beaches in the world! St. Enodoc Church, once buried in the sand, is within comfortable walking distance of Daymer Bay and is the resting place of Sir John Betjeman. Daymer Bay holds great appeal for wind surfers with the waves rolling up the estuary. There is enormous fun too for small children with buckets and spades and fishing in the rock pools. Up from the coast path as it runs from Daymer Bay is Highcliffe, nestling between Polzeath and Trebetherick, both of which boast a number of pubs, restaurants and village stores all offering a wide variety of fresh quality produce. The properties at Highcliffe have the advantage of being within easy reach of Daymer, Polzeath and Greenaway - Greenaway being the name given to the clifftop area, beach and small cove with rock pools overlooking the Atlantic beyond that lies between Daymer and Polzeath.
