Bodare 3 is a spacious, open plan ground floor holiday apartment in a fabulous location halfway down Daymer Lane, in what was formally a country house hotel. A perfect setting for a seaside holiday, as the beach and seashore is just a two-minute walk away from a footpath leading directly from the beautiful communal gardens. The apartment will sleep 6 guests in 3 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms, making it ideal for a family, or group of friends with the benefit of parking for two cars.
Bodare 3 has full use of the large, sheltered gardens with stretches of lawns for garden games but also plenty of mature shrubbery and trees, creating idyllic places to relax quietly with a book or the morning papers. This self catering holiday apartment has a king size bedroom, one twin room, (which could be converted via zip and link to a 6ft bed) and a useful bunk room. The kitchen is a lovely sociable space as it over looks the dining table and lounge beyond, where big patio doors lead out to a private terrace and garden area, a perfect setting for al fresco meals, Cornish cream teas or just a peaceful sunbathing spot, bordered by lavender with a gate onto the communal gardens.
The footpath at the end of the garden will lead you down to the soft, golden sands of Daymer Bay, through sand dunes and skirting the famous St Enodoc Golf Course. Take a detour to discover the crooked spire and tiny church of St Enodoc, indelibly associated with the late Poet Laureate Sir John Betjeman, who was buried here in 1984. Trebetherick has a village shop for essentials and a great cafe/restaurant called The Mowhay where on sunny days and balmy evenings you can enjoy their delicious seasonal foods outside, under twinkling lights, or feel the warmth of the wood burner in the cosy interior.
