May is a wonderful time to visit North Cornwall, with warm sunny days and plenty to see and do. For starters you can join in our kids beach clean and marine art ramble on the 31st May on Polzeath beach in association with Cornwall Wildlife Trust. We’d also recommend catching a sun set on the beach, getting stuck into a good old cream tea or Cornish ice-cream at one of our lovely little cafes or tearooms, or booking a surf lessons with Wavehunters if you're feeling active.
Take the ferry across to Padstow to explore this well known historic town. Hire a bike to cycle the Camel Trail into Wadebridge, then top it off with a portion of Rick Stien's fish and chips - you won't be disappointed. Use our Spring Walking Guides to get out and about and explore the coastal footpaths. With beautiful scenery, beautiful beaches to picnic on along the way, you can head to a traditional Cornish pub to finish the walk off with a refreshing drink or two, there really is no better way to see the county.
