The village has a Spar shop where you can stock up on all your groceries and plenty of places for gift and clothes shopping. There are cafes, restaurants and takeaways for easy mealtimes when your'e all worn out by the Cornish air.

Newquay is 24 miles away and known globally for its surf scene with consistent waves and a fantastic array of beaches to suit different tides, weather conditions, mood and ability. The atmospheric fishing village of Port Isaac or the rugged and dramatic King Arthur's castle set into the cliff side in Tintagel are fascinating for those interested in Cornish history.
