A contemporary and relaxing getaway that is perfect for a family holiday, The Saltbox is set over three floors, sleeping 6 guests in 3 bedrooms with 4 bathrooms. This spacious self-catering holiday house is deal for bringing along the grandparents or the children's friends. There is also a sheltered terrace area for outdoor dining and allocated parking for one car.
The three bright and modern bedrooms all benefit from en-suite shower rooms and there is also a further family bathroom. The clever reverse living design makes the most of those spectacular sea views and what better way to gauge the day's weather than by watching the endless blue skies and Atlantic ocean? The second floor is taken up with a bright and sociable open plan area combining kitchen, dining and sitting room; a great place to rustle up family meals or a picnic, perhaps using the local crab or lobster from the harbour side fish market.
Port Isaac is a wonderful base for your Cornish holiday and The Saltbox is located just a five-minute walk from its busy little harbour with coastal walks, tearooms, gift shops and galleries galore. Of Doc Martin fame, filming for the TV show in Port Isaac has become a part of village life in many of the summer months. On Friday evenings in the summer, wander down to the harbour slipway to enjoy an open air concert by the Fisherman's Friends, before indulging in a meal at one of Nathan Outlaw's restaurants. For sandy beaches and surf, Polzeath beach is a 15-minute drive away, as is the sailing hub of Rock and its beautiful Camel Estuary. The nearest town Wadebridge, is only 8 miles away and has three supermarkets, a cinema, leisure centre and is also the starting point for the Camel Trail cycle track.
Sorry No Pets. Please note there is a secure storage area under the patio - care should be taken on steps when weather is wet.
