Equipped to sleep 8 guests in 4 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms, ideally suited to two families sharing a holiday in Port Isaac's picturesque and vibrant fishing village. With parking for two cars, there is a sun deck at the rear and a small patio at the front with bird's eye views of the delightful harbour, beach and sea, adorned with colourful fishing boats. TV and film lovers will appreciate having 'Doc Martins' fictional home and surgery next door!
The house boasts many traditional features with eye catching fireplaces and stunning sea views framed by attractive and enormous windows. Settle down on one of the windows seats where you can watch the to-ing and fro-ing of fishing boats and pleasure crafts. The sleeping accommodation consists of two twin bedrooms on the second floor, a king sized bedroom and a further twin on the first floor. The elegant sitting room has a cosy open fire for chillier evenings or blustery days.
Port Isaac has become increasingly popular with film and TV crews due to its stunning scenery and better than average weather. German film crews obsessed with romantic Cornish life, portrayed in Rosamunde Pilcher's novels, and of course more local crew's filming more of the 'Doc Martin' series are frequently in evidence in the summer months. Wander up along the footpath to Lobber Point and leave the hurly burly behind you for a picnic with a sensational viewpoint or buy some local fish from the fish sellers in the village and cook yourselves up a seafood supper to enjoy in the comfort of Folly 1.
