Tremanon is a beautifully presented, mid terrace south facing character cottage with garden and parking. The cottage encompasses three floors and superb sea views can be enjoyed from the upper rooms. Tremanon could be a romantic getaway for a couple or equably suitable for a small family looking for a Cornish bolt-hole. The self catering holiday cottage can sleep 4 guests in 2 bedrooms with the family bathroom located on the 1st floor. The picturesque harbour in Port Isaac is just a five-minute walk away.
There is a lovely little sun-trap terrace area at the front of the cottage next to the entrance porch. The compact kitchen has everything you'll need when you're not taking advantage of all the wonderful eating establishments around the harbour side including Nathan Outlaw's Fish Kitchen. A wood-burning stove in the sitting room offers cheerful warmth on wintry evenings. One of the bedrooms has a double bed and the other offers twin beds; both have sea views.
On hot sunny days the attractive cove of Port Gaverne is wonderful for sea swimmers and paddlers it was once a port exporting slate from the nearby quarry at Delabole until the 19th century, the National Trust now maintains it. The 17th century Port Gaverne Inn offers a perfect pitstop restaurant and a bar for refreshments before heading back up the hill to Tremanon. Four miles away lies Polzeath, the area's best surfing beach, and a little further on is Daymer bay and the unspoilt Camel Estuary.
