Harewood is a spacious and stylishly presented holiday home with views over the village to the harbour and a glimpse of the sea from the master bedroom. Only a short walk from Port Isaac's historic harbour this family friendly property sleeps 6 guests in 3 bedrooms with one bathroom and one shower room, offers plenty of parking, allows two pets by arrangement and supplies linen and towels.
*Please note the driveway is steep and very tight as it goes past the house (2.1m) and due to slope off the main road it is not suitable for low profile vehicles*
Coastal chic inspired design combines easily with original features to create a comfortable family home-from-home. When the wild Atlantic winds blow you can hunker down in the cosy sitting room with its feature wood burner. The adjacent open plan kitchen is ideal for holiday life and offers everything you need to prep lazy breakfasts or summer suppers, which can be taken in the conservatory dining room flooded with natural light. Throw open the doors to the terraced patio garden to let in the fresh ocean air, or take your meal up to the raised terrace to make the most of fine days. The first floor offers a double bedroom with large windows to let the light flood in, a twin bedroom overlookig the rear garden and the family bathroom close to hand. Retreat upstairs in the eaves to the spacious master bedroom with it's original oak beams, dressing area and views of the harbour.
The north Cornish coast has plenty to offer couples and families alike. Water-babies will adore the myriad of water sports on offer from surfing to sailing, swimming to sea kayaking. Stretch out on the many coast paths around the area to explore the rugged and beautiful coast by foot or simply take time out with a cliff top picnic. Art aficionados will enjoy perusing the many galleries around Port Isaac, while food lovers are spoilt for choice with michelin star Nathan Outlaw's two restaurants in Port Isaac village plus countless tea shops, pubs and restaurants. The harbour at Port Isaac offers a safe rock-pooling and paddling beach for youngsters, but stronger swimmers may want to head next door to Port Gaverne for swimming or coasteering. Surfers should head to nearby Polzeath for some of Britain's best waves, whilst sailors and water-ski enthusiasts should look to Rock on the Camel Estuary.
