** NEW FOR 2018 SEASON - PETS ACCEPTED BY ARRANGEMENT **
Church Hill 22 is situated at the foot of Church Hill, less than a minutes walk down to Port Isaac's vibrant harbourside, shops, galleries, pub and restaurants. This grand Georgian home offers delightful family accommodation set over three floors, sleeping 8 in 5 bedrooms with 1 bathroom and the benefit of parking for one car - please contact the office for details. The elevated garden area is accessed via steep slate steps and offers outstanding views down through the village, harbour and out to sea, a lovely spot for morning coffee or a Cornish Cream tea. There is also a self-contained flat underneath the holiday cottage.
On the first floor there are two double bedrooms, one twin bedroom and a single bedroom, all comfortably furnished and benefiting from lots of light. On the top floor under the eaves with exposed beams is a pretty little single bedroom (with no door). Downstairs on the first floor the sitting room has a lovely feature fireplace, which is as practical as it is attractive; curl up on a chilly day with a good book, and enjoy its warmth and comfort.
Spend a day enjoying the hustle and bustle on the beach and harbour and lose yourself in the quaint narrow streets of the centuries old fisherman's cottages with their gorgeous blue slate roofs and whitewashed walls. If you're feeling energetic, a few miles west lies Port Quin a short drive or a spectacular walk over Lobber point past the rocky cove of Pine Haven, then Varley Head, along Reedy Cliff then Kellan Head and finally dropping down into this pretty National Trust owned cove. A lovely spot for swimming, kayaking, rock pooling or fishing. With cycling, golf, tennis as well as a wide variety of watersports on offer as well as stunning sandy beaches and historic villages to explore - there is bound to be something on the North Cornwall coast to suit all members of your party.
Please Note: The utility room is accessed from courtyard. Care should be taken with children and the elderly on steps up to the garden. No linen provided.
