This delightful cottage blends its historic roots with seaside appeal; with exposed ceiling beams, original timber doors and a steep staircase. A new shaker style kitchen has everything you need to cook up a storm after a long day exploring the coast, then sink into a chair and relax watching a favourite film or dine alfreso out on the patio in the sunshine. Upstairs, you’ll find two bedrooms both with pleasant sea views. From the master bedroom, you can see Fern Cottage, otherwise known as ‘The Surgery’ from the popular TV series, Doc Martin. There is a useful utility room just off the kitchen, a practical space to keep your walking gear and wetsuits with access out onto the cliff path and stunning views over to Lobber Point.
Port Isaac is a beautiful, unspoilt and historic fishing village situated along the rugged North Cornwall coastline. Famed for its picturesque fisherman’s cottages and narrow streets, it is the home to the successful shanty singing group The Fisherman’s Friends and has staged various film and television series, the most notable being Doc Martin starring Martin Clunes and Poldark. Well located to enjoy an endless list of outdoor activities available including coastal walking, water sports, golf and horse riding to name a few, while for foodies it offers a large selection of restaurants from fine dining at Restaurant Nathan Outlaw or a light lunch at Chapel Café for their award winning fish goujon sandwich. Distinctive and unusual, there really is something for everyone to enjoy.
