Located a little way up Church hill in the historic part of Port Isaac, Kicker Cottage is a beautifully presented traditional fisherman's holiday cottage. Oozing bundles of character and charm with exposed beams, natural flooring and the original inglenook fireplace, this cottage offers cosy family friendly accommodation with pretty terraced gardens and a patio boasting spectacular sea views. Sleeping 5-6 in 3 bedrooms, the self catering cottage also welcomes your family pets and has allocated parking, at the top of Church Hill, for 1 car.
The sitting room is charming and generously furnished; light the wood burner set within the huge stone fireplace for snug evenings in during colder months. A pretty kitchen has everything you need for cooking up the catch of the day; fresh fish, shellfish and crab can be purchased from the fish market next to the slipway. The top garden terrace is a lovely place to sit and look out over Port Isaac and out to sea.
You will love getting to know Port Isaac's busy working harbour and quaint village, made famous by the Doc Martin TV series and the sea shanty singers Fisherman's Friends. Excellent restaurants and cafes including two run by Michelin star-winning Nathan Outlaw will sate your appetite and thirst after a busy day exploring the coast. Young children will love exploring the rock pools here and at nearby Port Gaverne. Don't miss the vast sandy beach at Polzeath, popular with swimmers and surfers of all ages.
Pets welcome by arrangement.
