Only yards from the bustling, working fishing harbour and a tempting selection of restaurants and quality gift shops, this is in a wonderful location from which to enjoy and explore Port Isaac on the north Cornwall coast. Old Cobblers can sleep up to 4 guests comfortably in 2 beautifully decorated bedrooms; perfect for couples or small groups who wish to explore this picturesque village.

Uniquely flexible, Old Cobblers shares the same access and courtyard to Church Hill House, located directly under Church Hill House. When combined, both properties can cater up to 11 guests, making this the perfect base for a large family get together or special occasion

Visit the harbour fish shop and cook up the catch of the day in the bright, open plan kitchen with slate floors, then relax in the cosy living area with a local tipple while catching up on your favourite series. After dinner, wander down the hill to the Golden Lion pub for a pint of local-brewed beer or try a glass of wine from North Cornwall's Camel Valley vineyard. Sing along on the platt with the famous 'Fisherman's Friends' every Friday evening during the summer; their wonderful renditions of sea shanties make for a memorable evening.

Port Isaac is a quintessential Cornish fishing village; dating back to the 14th century, its history and architecture are fascinating to experience. The old part of the village has narrow, winding streets lined with old white-washed cottages. An atmospheric place to wander about, walk through one of the narrowest thoroughfares in the UK: Squeezebelly Alley! Fishing and scenic trips can be taken from the harbour over the summer. The coastal path leads North to Port Gaverne and beyond towards Trebarwith Strand, or head South to Port Quin and Lundy Bay for a more challenging walk. Afterwards, satisfy your appetite with fantastic food from the many excellent restaurants including Nathan Outlaw's Fish Kitchen.

Parking: Although there is no parking at the cottage, you can load and unload your luggage close to the property and there are two long stay car parks at the top of the village approximately 10 and 15 minutes walk away. Please ask us if you want to chat about this before booking.
