Sunnynook is a large, light and airy bungalow offering comfortable living accommodation in Rock village. Set well back from the road in spacious gardens with a secure back garden and terrace on which to enjoy al fresco breakfasts, afternoon drinks, evening meals or BBQ or perhaps to try your hand at giant Jenga or a game of badminton. Sleeping 8 guests in 4 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms, it is ideal for extended family holidays or two families sharing. Positioned within easy walking distance of Rock's shops and the world class St Enodoc Golf Course, Sunnynook is approximately half a mile from Rock beach and the foot ferry to Padstow. There is ample off road private parking at the property.

The social, living space is set on one side of the property with french doors opening onto the terrace and mature gardens from both living rooms. All the bedrooms are located on the other side, which means that grown ups can stay up late without disturbing the children once they are all in bed, tired out after a busy day on the beach. The separate kitchen has everything you need close to hand to cook up some hearty dishes, before sitting down to a family meal together in the living/dining room or eat out on balmy nights. All the bedrooms offer good storage and two of the generous bedrooms also have en-suite shower rooms; while two more twin bedrooms share the use of the family bath and shower room. The airing cupboard is found at the top of the stairs from the entrance hall.

Rock is renowned for its sunny, golden sandy beaches situated directly opposite Padstow harbour. Everyone will enjoy taking the foot ferry over to explore this historic fishing harbour, with fish and chips, local fudge and ice-cream a must! There are also several very good cafes, pubs and restaurants in the town. Why not hire dinghies, paddle boards, or even book a water-ski session. Landlubbers will still enjoy visiting the many shops and cafes in fashionable Rock. Lace up your walking boots and head out onto the coastal paths to walk the mile long easy stretch of beach that wraps right round to Daymer Bay at low tide. Kids love playing hide and seek in the sand dunes and combing the shore line for shells and skimming stones.

Daymer Bay is another lovely family friendly beach that offers safe bathing waters tucked in on the Camel Estuary, plus a little stream for children to build dams and sandcastles. A great picnic and BBQ beach, there is a beach shop selling ice-creams and pasties.

Further round the coast, but still within walking distance, lies Polzeath beach - the surfing hub of North Cornwall with exciting wave for body-boarders, surfers and SUP (stand up paddle board) fans. Linger on the beach to experience the glorious sunsets - you wont be disappointed!
