One Slipway Cottage occupies a commanding position on the frontline of Rock's waterfront, enjoying spectacular views over the estuary towards Padstow. It is one of the few Slipway cottages to have access to a private garden overlooking the iconic Rock Sailing Club and beyond. The self catering holiday cottage has been refurbished to a very high standard with a fresh colour scheme, enhanced with sea blues to blend into the breathtaking sky and estuary views beyond the windows. A truly memorable waterside setting for couples or a large family as it sleeps 7 in 4 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms.
The cottage is set over three floors with a single bedroom and a useful utility room/shower/W.C/Storage area on the ground floor; ideally placed to leave all your beach paraphernalia before heading upstairs. An open plan lounge/dining room makes the most of the coastal views with glass doors opening onto a balcony. There will be no arguments over loading the dishwasher as the kitchen sink also benefits from the superb outlook, an inspiring position for budding chefs to rustle up delicious seafood suppers. A king size bedroom is also on this level and a further king size bedroom; a bunk bedroom and a family bathroom are located on the top floor.
The cottage benefits from private parking but with so much on offer on your doorstep you may never feel the need to use it. There are pubs, cafes and fine dining restaurants, lovely beaches, with home and clothing shops to explore. Coastal footpaths and semi-rural ones can be followed to nearby Daymer Bay, Greenaway and Polzeath or alongside the fairways of St Enodoc Golf course. A holiday highlight could include a short trip across the Estuary on the passenger ferry to Padstow to browse through the art galleries or to mingle around the harbour side while the young, or young at heart, attempt a spot of crabbing or indulge in some Cornish fudge.
