Carrek House is a large contemporary holiday home in Rock, Cornwall, tucked away from the hustle and bustle, but within moments of St Enodoc Golf Course and both of Daymer Bay and Rock beaches. An enchanting and spacious five bedroom self-catering property that sleeps up to 11 guests, Carrek House benefits from a beautiful manicured lawn that surrounds the property and offers a comfortable home-from-home for a large family or two families sharing. A beautiful coastal haven with a relaxing and soothing interior decorated in line with its relaxed coastal location. The contemporary living space is an attractive fusion of comfortably carpeted floors and calm neutral tones that together create a warm and welcoming atmosphere whatever the time of year. The spacious master bedroom boasts a superking size bed and luxurious ensuite bathroom equipped with a tub and separate shower. The first floor also has a great kids triple bedroom, a king ensuite, a double bedroom and a balcony accessed from the landing where you can enjoy a morning coffee with a garden view. On the ground floor the snug is a useful extra space for children or adults looking for a peaceful place to curl up with a game or a book away from the main lounge. The main living room is spacious, light and airy space with plush sofas to sink into with a good book. The dining area has a beautiful wood table and chairs, the ideal space to enjoy laid-back meals together in comfort. The lounge diner opens up into the conservatory area with table football, table tennis and extra seating for some in-house entertainment.
The stunning Camel Estuary is within walking distance offering scenic sailing and water-skiing at Rock, along with fine restaurants, pubs and access to the coastal paths linking Porthilly to Daymer and onwards to Polzeath. Golf enthusiasts will be spoilt for choice with The Point and St Enodoc Golf Course on your doorstep. You can literally walk for miles with the dogs, the North Cornwall coast offering stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean in all its glory. From Rock you can also catch the ferry across to Padstow, for a fun day out exploring this historic working harbour. Eat out at Rick Stein’s restaurants or Paul Ainsworth at No. 6 and catch the water taxi home against a backdrop of twinkling lights for a magical experience.
