Polzeath 1.1 miles. Tucked away on the outskirts of Trebetherick near Polzeath in Cornwall, is this delightful, detached bungalow, Croft Elms. Enjoying a prime position along the scenic Cornish coast and exceptional views look out over the golf course to Brea Hill and the Camel Estuary, Croft Elms makes for a wonderful dwelling for couples or a family of four looking for their next Cornish escape. Park-up on the private driveway with space for three cars, before making your way into your new home-from-home. Look forward to whipping up flavourful meals in the well-equipped kitchen, featuring a three drawer fridge-freezer, handy dishwasher and washing machine, ready to savour at the dining table for four. If the weather is nice, why not dine alfresco out on the private patio, followed by drinks on the sun deck overlooking the enclosed lawn? When the evening cools, retire to the conservatory where you can still soak up the fantastic views looking out towards Daymer Bay beach. In the hallway, you will find two cupboards, one housing a tumble dryer, the other with small extra fridge, iron and ironing board. Add a log to the wood burning stove and curl up on the plush seating as you watch your favourite film on the TV with Chromecast or listen to some tunes on the Sonos speaker. Wash away the day with a refreshing shower or soothing soak in the bath, before choosing from one of two well-presented bedrooms to catch your rest in, a king-size and a twin with zip/link and Freeview TV.
Explore your local surroundings, where you will find the superb Daymer Bay Beach just a walk away across the fields and golf course, with its golden sands ideal for bathing on and clear waters for swimming or trying your hand at windsurfing. For a wider selection of amenities, head into Polzeath just a short drive away, where you will find the popular Oyster Catcher pub offering a tasty menu and local ales, and the contemporary Atlantic Hotel bar & kitchen which overlooks the water. If you can’t get enough of the beautiful beaches, be sure to test out the waves at Polzeath beach, with surf school and equipment shop readily available nearby. Travel the opposite way to Rock where you can continue taking to the waters at the Rock Sailing & Waterski Club, or if that isn’t your thing, head to the renowned St Enodoc Golf Club to enjoy a game overlooking the Camel estuary. Hop aboard the Black Tor foot ferry and set sail over to Padstow, where you can visit the National Lobster Hatchery and adopt your own hatchling, cycle along the scenic Camel Trail, or enjoy a touch of the grandeur with a visit to the stunning 16th-century Prideaux Place. Walkers needn’t feel left out, with the famous South West Coast Path right on your doorstep offering some of the best views and scenery in the region. Gather the ones who mean most and escape to Croft Elms.

Arrived an hour early, but the accommodation was being viewed by potential buyers, thst was fine but no welcome pack and felt if a bit mean.
as retired couple we found weeeee a little to far out and awa th from facilities.ie shops etc plus parking was horrendously expensive! Each time we moved location we were faced with tthe parking gauntlet. However that said we had a beautiful view from the bungalow and managed to stay for three days before we left, …

Croft Elms is a home from home for our family, as we've been coming here every year for our holidays for years.
It's a wonderful little house in a great location, and we can park up and walk everywhere we need to. Amazing views across the Camel Estuary and it's less than a kilometre to walk down to Daymer Bay. Only one slight observation this year and that was that the main bathroom was a little damp and could do with some love, to improve standards. Otherwise, we'll obviously be back next year, as we love the area and love the house, it's so relaxing and a great place to hang out! Thank you for continuing to share it.
