Port Gaverne is just around the corner, a safe and sheltered cove for sea swimming or simply paddling and enjoying beach combing or shell seeking. The neighbouring village of Port Quinn is owned by the National Trust and is a quiet and peaceful cove which holds great attraction for canoeists and kayakers.
