“We had a great stay at Brookside, the location is fantastic being so close to the beach.”
However the whole affair was let down but a few key things. We arrived to not a single loo roll in the property, luckily we'd taken some with us for those of us who needed to use the facilities before getting to a shop but other holiday makers might not be so prepared. There were loads of items dirty or broken and we had to send a huge list to John Bray. We cleaned everything that was dirty and John Bray sent someone out to fix most of the bits that were broken/damaged but some items were still outstanding when we left. I only hope that they managed to get everything sorted before the next holiday makers arrived. Our mid-stay linen change had some items missing so we had to call the out of hours number to get replacements. There were also some core items missing that would have made our stay a lot less stressful. An iron, ironing board, laundry basket and clothes airer for when it's wet outside would be beneficial and a lock on the bathroom door saving us all from having to sing while in there would also be a grateful addition! As I said, a lovely holiday all in all but could have been so much better, especially with the inflated price such a property demands in these post-covid days.

This has been passed onto the maintenance team who have dealt with the issues raised and housekeeping have been notified of the lack of toilet roll.
