    “We would have preferred a bigger TV especially if the weather had been bad but we had a beautiful week of sunshine.”

    The beds were extra comfy and there was a fabulous feel to the house. We usually book Splits and love it but it was a lovely change and we would love to book again. I rang John Bray whilst I was there as I overheard that you are no longer doing priority booking and the lady I spoke to promised she would call back with the new information of how to book and why priority booking has been cancelled and I have heard nothing. 2021 - EXCITING NEWS! Atlantis now has a second floor as an extension, adding two upstairs bedrooms, a new bathroom, a viewing landing and balcony. Atlantis will now sleep 6-8 across 3 bedrooms, please see further details below regarding updated bed configurations. This extension will enable guests to soak up sea views from the bedrooms, viewing area and balcony - why not take your morning coffee out to the balcony, sit back and and enjoy the vista! 2021/2022 - Building Works* Atlantis is located next to a building plot. The house on the upper side, Turnstones, was demolished in early March 2020 and planning permission has been granted for a new three bedroom house. Works are underway for this project, if you would like to talk anything through, please contact us. Take a 360 virtual tour of Atlantis here: ATLANTIS Atlantis is a stylishly renovated detached holiday bungalow set in an elevated position enjoying great views over Polzeath bay. A spacious, comfortable and modern seaside holiday home, suitable for a large family or two smaller families or groups of couples. Surfers and swimmers will greatly appreciate the ability to gauge the sea conditions from the comfort of home before making the short walk down to the beach. The outside space includes gardens, patios to the front and rear and parking for 2 cars. Atlantis has one beautifully styled super king sized bedroom, king bedroom and viewing balcony upstairs which offer glorious views out across to sea. There's also one new bathroom upstairs which offers comfort and convenience. Downstairs, a further family bedroom gives space for children and/or a single adult to have their own retreat with a shower room and utility room with drying rack; ideal for wetsuits and beach towels. The outside shower is an extremely useful addition after a salty day on the beach. The open plan kitchen/lounge/dining room is a great sociable and relaxing space with a generous light feel. The glass conservatory is another comfortable space for entertaining or for resting weary legs and reviving spirits after enjoying the delights of North Cornwall.The pubs, restaurants and shops of the village cater for all your day-to-day needs. The market town of Wadebridge is 6 miles away and there are some lovely independent shops to browse in as well as the usual town amenities. Wadebridge is situated alongside the river Camel and a great days entertainment can be found cycling the Camel trail to Padstow. Bikes of all sizes can be hired and it’s an easy ride as it runs along the old railway line and is flat and well kept. The opposite direction is equally stunning through fields and woodland towards Bodmin and Wenfordbridge. Accommodation for 2021: Enjoy the newly extended Atlantis with an upstairs level! As below, the bedroom configurations have changed, with the upstairs bedrooms enjoying views. Downstairs: Conservatory Open plan Sitting Room/Kitchen/Dining Room Bedroom at the back of the house: Bunk Beds + 1 Single Bed (3ft wide) + 1 Single trundle low pull out bed (3 foot wide) and handbasin Bathroom Shower room Utility room Outside Shower Upstairs: Bedroom: Master King Size Bed (5ft wide) with a Jack & Jill shower room ensuite (with an entrance via this bedroom and via the landing upstairs) Bedroom: Super King Size Bed (6ft wide) - this bed can be made into 2 x 3ft wide twin beds on request with at least one week's notice Viewing landing area with seating - a great escape for a few to enjoy some personal space away from the hub of the rest of the house Balcony from the landing area with a small table and a few chairs to be able to sit back and enjoy the view Sorry no pets at any time.

Padstow 1.5 miles via ferry; Polzeath 2.8 miles; Wadebridge 6.2 miles.

Rock is a desirable and much sought after coastal village located on the north eastern bank of the River Camel opposite the famous harbour town of Padstow which is easily reached by a regular ferry service. The summer home of royalty and celebrities offering top class restaurants and quality shops, the real draw is the array of watersports including sailing, water skiing, windsurfing and angling. Continuing on a sporting theme, the golf course at nearby St Enodoc is considered to be one of the best in the country. With an abundance of world class beaches all within a short radius it is easy to see why Rock holds its popularity.
