“I’ve stayed at quite a few Sykes and Airbnb and this stay was relatively disappointing Good points: Amazing location and secluded Garden is nice Very spacious Points of concern: No hairdryer broken blinds in bedroom three The basin taps in the first bedroom didn’t work well at all - indicated some plumbing issues.”

The water would shoot out the tap randomly at night shower is electric and not the best pressure lack of glass tumblers Dishwasher constantly had warning signs on due to lack of “salt”. Didn’t run very well. no toilet paper garage key would not open garage door in games room with no key that has been open since arrival - security risk 9.30 checkout and 4pm checkin seems much wider than usual - is it really necessary? Whilst it’s perhaps not a requirement I’ve stayed at enough places ...

Whilst it’s perhaps not a requirement I’ve stayed at enough places that a basic provision of toilet paper, salt, pepper, sugar, washing up liquid, refuse bags is the bare minimum. I’ve stayed at places that have given biscuits sweets, milk and bottles of wine at the checkin - a very warm welcoming feeling. This place had NOTHING. We immediately had to rush off to a supermarket to get the basics. General state of repair was moderate to poor. Quite a few damaged items like blinds, flaky paintwork all over and one door (leading outside) was unlocked with no key. We only realised this after a few days. This place has amazing potential but it lacks touch from when you arrive and quite a few maintenance issues to sort out
