Pendaveli

We had a wonderful week at Pendaveli.

Superb house and location. It suited our family or six perfectly. Accommodation was excellent and views were lovely. We have been coming to Polzeath in Cornwall for 23 years and have stayed in a two other properties in Polzeath. Predaveli is our favourite now. Only minor issues this week were 1) we could not get the bath tap to work in main bathroom - not a big issue we just used the other two bathrooms) 2) we found that passer-by’s were using the houses green wheelie bins for rubbish and takeaway boxes. We also saw a few using the tap at the bottom of the stairs to wash their feet off. This happened night a few times which was a little disconcerting. A small gate at bottom of stairs would deter this I am sure.

THE INSIDE OF THE PROPERTY WAS CLEAN, BRIGHT AND OF A HIGH STANDARD OVERALL.

THE LAYOUT OF THE KITCHEN/ LOUNGE AREA WAS VERY GOOD FOR FAMILY USE AND IT WAS GREAT TO HAVE LOTS OF BATHROOMS. A WELCOME BOTTLE OF MILK IN THE FRIDGE TO MAKE A WELCOME CUPPA WOULD HAVE ADDED A NICE TOUCH. WE FELT THAT THE OUTSIDE PATIO AREA WAS VERY TIRED LOOKING AND A BIT SCRUFFY. THERE WAS NO PARASOL FOR THE TABLE OR CUSHIONS FOR THE RATHER UNCOMFORTABLE SEATING. A COMPLETE OUTDOOR MAKEOVER BEFORE NEXT SEASON WOULD VASTLY IMPROVE THE PROPERTY.

What a fantastic house!

Not only did the property itself exceed our expectations, it was in a perfect location. Pendaveli was a quiet and peaceful base but just a short walk to the beach and the shops and cafes. The house was well equipped and very spacious, ideal for families or small groups. The beds were comfy and the showers very good. The property even has an outside shower and tap for washing off sand and rinsing wetsuits. The only small improvements I could possibly suggest would be the addition of a parasol for the garden table and an air fryer for the kitchen. We loved our stay so much we intend to book again very soon! Thank you for renting your beautiful house to us.

The property is beautiful and was fantastic for my son and me to spend a week away from the buzz of day-to-day.

You can't fault the location - we've been coming to Polzeath for 30 years. I imagine it would be busy un the Summer but we were lucky enough to have a peaceful stay. The kitchen needs a thorough deep clean along with all of the utensils and plates etc, probably because the dishwasher is pretty awful and the cleaners rely on customers using the dishwasher. The fireplace is lovely - it would make sense to have some fire tools though? And for the price a welcome bundle of wood for one night wouldnt go amiss.

This is the second time we've stayed here and it is such a great house with a great location.

Our only complaint about this stay is that the oven was filthy..Other than that no complaints at all.

What an absolute gem of a property.

As stated in the listing there are a few steps up and down to gain access, but it’s sooo worth it for the lovely flat short walk to the beach. It must be one of very few properties with such easy access in the whole of Polzeath. We popped in and out of the property throughout the day from the beach because it was so convenient. And it was also only a stones throw from the shops etc. Very generous parking too (3 decent size spaces). The beds were really comfortable and the place was well equipped for us and our young family. We ended up eating out a fair bit so didn’t really cook, but the kitchen appeared to have everything one might need. My only slight negative is there wasn’t a bbq to use, but this isn’t enough to put us off and we will defiantly be booking in again. Really fantastic property, thank you!

We have once again stayed in this lovely house.

Just great for beach and a local shop and restaurants. The house itself has a really good aspect, great decking area for dinning out in the evening. Lovely view. Children love it as they can just walk to beach very easily to surf. Wash room really handy. Out door shower good for when they come off the beach. Handy downstairs bedroom with shower room. Will be booking again in for 2026. Thank you. SL

However , issues with the washing machine and heating / hot water did affect our stay .
